St. Patrick's Day crafts

This wreath was the quickest craft I put together. I bought two shamrocks from the dollar store and hooked them together with green twist ties.
Total price: $2.00
This wreath took a little longer to make but was still pretty simple. It was pretty inexpensive to make also.
I bought a flat wreath form from Michaels using a 40 percent off coupon.
I decided to paint it green so it didn't stand out so much if some of it showed in between the shamrocks.
I glued the shamrocks on with Elmer's glue. When I went to attach the ribbon on the back, I decided I needed something stronger so I got out my hot glue gun. The Elmer's wasn't even holding the two ends of the ribbon together so I knew it wouldn't be strong enough to hold the wreath from.
Supplies for this wreath were: wreath form from Michaels, one package of shamrocks from the dollar store, paint, glue and ribbon.
Total cost: $2.50 - I already had the paint, glue and ribbon.
I also made this shamrock garland to put over my window in the kitchen which made it hard to take a picture of.
Supplies needed: one package of shamrocks from the dollar store, ribbon to tie them together, a hole punch and scissors.
Total cost: $1 for the shamrocks - I had the other supplies.
All in a days work!
Decorating for the holidays can be pretty inexpensive if you make them yourself. I'm sure kids would love to help out with these projects also.
Happy crafting!
